    We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to extract text from photos of handwritten or printed recipes. Only the extracted text is retained; the original photos are not stored.
  2. Recipe Metadata
    We automatically capture metadata related to your recipes, which may include titles, lists of ingredients, and descriptions of preparation steps.
  3. User-Created Content
    This includes any notes, comments, or modifications you add to your recipes within the app.


2. How We Use Your Data

The primary purpose of collecting your data is to transform your physical or digital recipes into organized, easily accessible digital formats using our AI technology. By processing the extracted text and associated metadata, we can help you create, organize, and manage your personal recipe collection seamlessly.


3. Data Sharing

Third-Party Providers:
When we partner with third-party services—for instance, cloud storage providers—we ensure that these partners comply with strict data protection regulations. Your data is only shared under conditions that protect your privacy to the fullest extent.


4. Data Deletion and Your Control

You have full control over your data within the Menu365 app:

  • Individual Deletion:You may delete any single recipe, its extracted text, or other content at any time through the app’s settings.

  • Complete Data Removal:If desired, you can remove all of your data by accessing the delete options within the app or by contacting our support team for assistance.
